The Shadow Weave Collapse

Concurrent with the death of Mystra, the Shadow Weave—the dark interface maintained by the goddess Shar—immediately disintegrated. Because the Shadow Weave was built upon the "gaps" in the standard Weave, it could not survive the total collapse of magical order. This left the Shadovar and Sharran cultists suddenly powerless, causing flying cities to wobble and dark rituals to fail catastrophically. It was Shar’s greatest tactical failure, proving that even her "safe" alternative to magic was tethered to the goddess she sought to destroy.
