The Shadowbane War

As the Second Sundering began to tear at the seams of reality, the Netherese launched a massive, multi-front offensive to eliminate their greatest rivals. The Shadovar legions, supported by their Sembian vassals, marched against Myth Drannor, the Dalelands, and Cormyr simultaneously in a conflict known as the Shadowbane War.

This total war represented the peak of Netherese military arrogance. The empire utilized flying enclaves and shadow-infused soldiers to bypass traditional defenses, seeking to extinguish the light of elven and human resistance once and for all. However, this overextension would eventually lead to their doom as the magical foundations of their empire began to fail alongside the fracturing Weave.
