The Halflings' Lament

In the Year of the Halflings' Lament, the magical upheavals following Mystra’s death and the collapse of the Weave tore through Luiren. The coastal homeland of the hin fractured and sank beneath the sea, drowning settlements and transforming the nation into the shallow Gulf of Luiren. Survivors fled into diaspora or clung to isolated high ground, while countless communities simply vanished beneath the waters—or were believed to have done so.
